Trump is not going to leave office under peaceful terms. He has nothing left to live for without being President. We should all be preparing for that.

I sincerely doubt the military will back him.

The best defense we have for the moment, after 5 pages, is "my Trump-supporting friends are not talking or tweeting about it yet".

Let's wait for Fuzzy, DelTaichi, Sánchez and of course the more boring trolls like SirWoodbury, Jessica and 7sergi9.

I'm sure Trump reported the same losses to his creditors when he applied for loans... Not.

i mean this is old news by now he can just say he went around the tax laws that could of been changed by obama/biden admin but they did nothing

Even if it's technically legal for him to pay so little tax, it doesn't make it right. He has an obligation to support the rest of society, that helped make him so successful in life. He doesn't care about other people, he just sees ordinary working people as chumps who should have to pay more instead or get less from their government.

What about the other billionaires like Jeff Bezos and others? They pay their employees like crap while they are racking in millions in gains weekly. They use the government to their benefit - the rich are benefited by the government tax laws which need to change and nobody in the past has tried to change it. this isn't trump's problems its a problem that needs to be fixed. Do i think this helps Biden? Probably not

Well yeah, that's a moral outrage too. Trump's tax reform actually made it easier for people like them to pay taxes, while Biden will raise taxes on Trump and all those other billionaires. So this should be a winning argument for Biden.

Hillary said the same thing during the debates - and Trump will say all his cronies that want him to win want him to keep the tax rates as they are - this issue doesn't change any trump supporters but all the biden supporters make it seem like it's going to shift the race from +8 to +9 lol

That doesn't mean it isn't a valid argument. I don't know if Trump supporters will respond to this, I just know that it should reduce Trump's support with working people.

I mean if it shifts it by +8 or +9 it doesn't make up the difference that he's losing.

It's been out for ages. You can (NSFW, obviously) watch it here. It is almost certainly fake.

This might consume whatever's left of the news cycle outside of COVID-19 going out of control again, so that pretty much covers it until election day.

These revelations would have completely doomed any previous President's re-election bid. Why do we give Trump a free pass?

Unfortunately, yeah, it's not going to move the needle. At this point, anybody with a semblance of critical thinking skills who isn't an ideologue isn't voting for Trump. The rest won't care about this and/or also already know he's a failure of a businessman and/or tax cheat, but just don't care because he is on their team. This ceased to be an issue when Hillary Clinton abandoned the Obama 2012 playbook of "rich guy who s[inks]ts all over you and doesn't care about you" (which would have arguably been even more effective against Trump than Romney) for the "this is not normal!" playbook. RIP Obama: our last true populist President.

Trump would've been dragged out of the White House Gaddafi-style circa 3 years ago if this country still had any semblance of concern for decorum, protocol, morality or corruption. Since Mike Pence isn't the current President, you can write this off as "Things That Don't Matter, Vol. 185".
