The problem with all you coastal liberals is that you're using this tragic violation of a family man's privacy to poor-shame him for not having his financial affairs in order. Newsflash, libs, normal people get into financial troubles all the time, and Donald Trump is no different.

Now you're clearly just trolling.

$750? I have donated more than that to Democrats during Trump's presidency and I am just a blue collar working stiff.

And remember, his entire family live luxuriously in expensive homes, fancy dining (daily), private jets, limo with drivers who open their doors ... and you get jack, and pay more in income taxes.
How does that sound? Fair?

I cannot believe a wealthy businessman cheated his taxes.
It's almost as if the upper class can get away with breaking the law!

Next you'll tell me corporations don't pay their fair share of taxes.

Biden better get an ad in the can ASAP on this...

Hit Trump hard on populist kitchen table style bread & butter issues.

Go after Trump's "perceived strength" while the iron is hot...

i mean this is old news by now he can just say he went around the tax laws that could of been changed by obama/biden admin but they did nothing

Even if it's technically legal for him to pay so little tax, it doesn't make it right. He has an obligation to support the rest of society, that helped make him so successful in life. He doesn't care about other people, he just sees ordinary working people as chumps who should have to pay more instead or get less from their government.

Lol, who pays more in taxes than they are legally required to? The most damning thing about this is it shows how bad a business man he is.

I don't think the point would be to attack him for "not paying more than he needs to," it would be to attack him for being an out-of-touch elite who can write off his business losses to avoid paying taxes for decades.

What about the other billionaires like Jeff Bezos and others? They pay their employees like crap while they are racking in millions in gains weekly. They use the government to their benefit - the rich are benefited by the government tax laws which need to change and nobody in the past has tried to change it. this isn't trump's problems its a problem that needs to be fixed. Do i think this helps Biden? Probably not

Well yeah, that's a moral outrage too. Trump's tax reform actually made it easier for people like them to pay taxes, while Biden will raise taxes on Trump and all those other billionaires. So this should be a winning argument for Biden.

Hillary said the same thing during the debates - and Trump will say all his cronies that want him to win want him to keep the tax rates as they are - this issue doesn't change any trump supporters but all the biden supporters make it seem like it's going to shift the race from +8 to +9 lol

It's clearly an extensive effort to avoid paying taxes. Another part of the unfairness of it is that rich people get these armies of accountants and lawyers to get their tax bill to the absolute minimum, while working people just have to pay the normal expected tax bill and don't get to use fancy tricks. Remember, people like Trump should be paying a lot more in tax, not less, than normal people because they have the ability to give back to society and help everyone else get ahead.

I think if this is framed the right way it could actually put a dent in Trump’s numbers. “You paid more in taxes than the supposed billionaire president” is easy to understand and emotionally resonant.

"Jeff Bezos" is not The President Of The United States.
End of story.

We already went through this SAME issue in the debates with hillary - this won't change the race

That doesn't mean it isn't a valid argument. I don't know if Trump supporters will respond to this, I just know that it should reduce Trump's support with working people.

Quote
No subject has provoked more intense speculation about Mr. Trump’s finances than his connection to Russia. While the tax records revealed no previously unknown financial connection — and, for the most part, lack the specificity required to do so — they did shed new light on the money behind the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow, a subject of enduring intrigue because of subsequent investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

The records show that the pageant was the most profitable Miss Universe during Mr. Trump’s time as co-owner, and that it generated a personal payday of $2.3 million — made possible, at least in part, by the Agalarov family, who would later help set up the infamous 2016 meeting between Trump campaign officials seeking “dirt” on Mrs. Clinton and a Russian lawyer connected to the Kremlin.

In August, the Senate Intelligence Committee released a report that looked extensively into the circumstances of the Moscow pageant, and revealed that as recently as February, investigators subpoenaed the Russian singer Emin Agalarov, who was involved in planning it. Mr. Agalarov’s father, Aras, a billionaire who boasts of close ties to Mr. Putin, was Mr. Trump’s partner in the event.

To sum up:
Less than two years before formally announcing his run for President, Donald Trump was paid over two million dollars by a close associate of Vladimir Putin.

Here's what he tweeted the day after the pageant:
