If being so widely reviled you get banned from Atlas and AAD is a qualification, then jmfcst should be on the list, though I think he's someone who got worse with time; before around the turn of the decade I think he was a poster in good standing.

Delighted to see myself declared a troll in the second post.

I don't really remember what was so wrong with jmfcst that isn't wrong with other mildly-trollish socon posters like, say, Fuzzy (whom I have my share of issues with but who I would never claim belongs anywhere near this category). Was it just that he developed a very aggressive posting style as time went on?
He was much more trollish than Fuzzy and much more inclined towards personal insults, and during the infraction points system used to deliberately manage his number of points to remain just under the allowed number so as not to be banned. On AAD he was especially aggressive towards female posters, in a very weird way.

I know he was, but I'm curious as to the story behind it, because it seems it was pretty bad but he always seemed like a very reasonable and informative poster whenever I read anything by him.
