What a stupid rule and the school/locality's choice in how to enforce it.

The event is outdoors, and from the looks of the video there was plenty of "social distance" between the woman and other spectators at the event.  In what universe does wearing a mask in these kind of circumstances even make a difference? (Red avatar answer:  "because sCIeNcE you GOPtard!1!!")

The school district misapplied the law, and misapplied it haphazardly and violently.  This woman should sue.

Once she resisted arrest she initiated the violence. Was the officer supposed to let her assault him? What hasn't been mentioned is that she had a mask in her pocket despite claiming that she couldn't wear one because she has asthma. Seems to me that she just likes drama and wanted to put on a show.

The SRO should have employed his discretion and not tried to enforce such a silly rule against a woman sitting outdoors, by herself, not remotely near anyone else

It is no more a silly rule than speed laws on the highways or bans on drunk driving.

Someone who has COVID-19 is potentially as dangerous as a rattlesnake. You are more likely to survive a rattlesnake bite than COVID-19. Even if it does not kill outright, it can lead to organ damage and diabetes.

No.  The risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 if you’re outdoors, observing social distance is approximately zero.  There is no reason masks should be required under those circumstances.

That you would compare it to drunk driving is a sign of brain damage, and I would suggest you seek medical help immediately.  The level of risk is no where near comparable

Fwiw, the Columbus news had a brief recorded interview from the woman who video taped the confrontation. Her take on it was that there were bad decisions on both sides. She said on the one hand the woman could have diffuse things by just complying, but she also said on the other hand that the cops seem to be overreacting in what he did in responding to a 110 lb woman.

Edit. Also, while this County swung way way hard to Trump 4 years ago, Obama almost won it in his previous two runs. Just saying.
