He reminds them of a kind, caring old man? He’s a loving and devoted father?

How will Biden recover?

“Biden is Mister Rodgers” is about the best endorsement possible.

When I saw that tweet I literally thought it was a liberal blue check commenting on Biden's Town Hall... guess it wasn't lol

Republicans think the rest of the country is like them and enjoy inflicting pain on others, so it's not a surprise they are proud about being awful, nasty people

Biden should take this as a compliment.

The Trump campaign, representing one of the most hated men in TV history, chose to compare their opponent to one of the most admired men in TV history. Bold strategy . . .

The text to his son is something so simple, but it made me a little emotional. I think Joe's a good person and seeing a bit of humanity in politicians is always nice when the President completely lacks any.

That text message is none of anyone's business yet these vultures put it in public for everyone to see.

The way the press has acted over the past four years, including this now, has been disgusting. There need to be consequences starting on January 20.

Reminder that Fox News once called Mr. Rogers "evil."

We are dealing with truly wicked people on the right. People whose sense of morality, of right and wrong, is entirely warped and inside-out. Until recently I've hesitated to cast them in the same black-and-white, fire and brimstone terms they've long used to cast the left. But at this point I just don't think there's any denying it any longer. It IS a struggle of good vs. evil. Just in the total opposite of the way they think it is.

Eh, I wouldn't necessarily say that. It's less about morals and more about how the high profile figures on the right manipulate the masses to work against their best interest. There are some evil people on the right, sure, like Charlie Kirk or Richard Spencer, but the majority of the people that you call wicked are just greedy and egotistical bastards who care more about their wallets than the people they serve. Its less a struggle of good vs evil and more of a struggle of the weak masses vs the manipulative strong few.

Trump is far too polarizing for this, the only way Biden was to lose was to get Ukraine in the media, but Covid took over

Well that’s quite the revisionist history.

Before Covid, Trump was on path to an incredibly easy re-election: Incredible economy, domestic peace, end of foreign wars. The economy though was (still is all things considered) on fire. Was a sure bet at re-election.

Give it a rest, RoboWop. No one with a brain cares about this Hunter Biden stuff. Also, there is NO CREDIBLE PIECE of evidence to show that Hunter (or Joe) did anything wrong.

I can, just not in a non-creepy, non-sex offender way.

Before Covid, Trump was on path to an incredibly easy re-election: Incredible economy, domestic peace, end of foreign wars. The economy though was (still is all things considered) on fire. Was a sure bet at re-election.

He was on a path for possible reelection, not easy reelection.

After all, he'd made the U.S. be seen as a spoiled brat of a country that couldn't be trusted. He, put our fiscal situation in an unsustainable situation, with trillion dollar deficits projected even before COVID-19 tanked the economy.  Most importantly, he wasn't going to face Hillary in 2020, and he lost to her in the PV, and only won because of the quirks of our Electoral College.  His potential paths to reelection, even before COVID-19, depended upon how the Electoral College works, which incidentally, is totally unlike how the Founders imagined it would when they met in Philadelphia to draft the Constitution.

Anyone who was always guaranteed to lose the PV this year cannot by any stretch of the imagination be said to have been off to an easy reelection. Keep in mind that a less than 1% uniform change in the margin in 2016 would have seen Trump losing.
