If "passing prayers" count, then yes. Occasionally a swear pops in and I get mixed feelings about it. Like, I want to present myself before God when I am at my best. But perhaps brutal honesty is what makes the prayer more genuine.

I don't pray novenas as often as I should, but now that I no longer have a roommate it is something I plan on doing once again. I am also going to start praying my rosary more, hopefully daily. When I have some extra money available, and when this COVID crap is out of the way, I would like to attend an Episcopal Church in the area and get involved with their programs.

God is all I have now, and if I'm wrong and I am doing nothing besides talking the sky, I am okay with that.

No, probably more like twice a week.

I wouldn't say that I pray other than in times of sadness, like when a relative dies and I ask the higher power for safety and comfort for their soul.

Although I don't consider myself very religious, I do.

Yeah same. I mean sometimes the thought pops into my head before I sleep and I do it (or like if I'm sick or someone else is or someone specifically asks for it) but I forget most days. It's never really been a major part of my routine.

I have no idea how young I was when somebody (family member?) said I should close my eyes and pray to God for a few moments.  I complied, but I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing or why.  Even then it seemed silly and pointless.

No, I don't think I've ever sincerely prayed.

No, though I certainly should. Praying makes me slightly uncomfortable, like talking to an authority figure when you know you’re trying to hide something from them. Praying out loud is relatively easy, but that’s because I focus more on myself than on God.

no

Like most (way) backslid Christians, I only pray when I'm in trouble.
Wait, are you a Christian? Or just when in a fox hole?

I don’t pray because I don’t expect God to solve my problems or show me—a fully capable human being—how to live my life. But I do meditate daily. If you begin your day every day with positive thoughts and by making your bed then you will have a good day every day.

It's hard sometimes, but it's important to me to make the effort to do it.

My wife, daughters, and I have three or four formal, structured prayers we say every day, but I try to pray by myself in an unstructured manner whenever it crosses my mind, which is usually several times per day.

Yes. Morning prayer by myself, and Family Worship with my wife and kids in the evening.

Pray? No.

Ask God why he's punishing us this way and what we could possibly have done to deserve any of this hell? Regularly.

I am not usually religious, but I do find myself lapsing into prayer as a result of my father's hospitalization
