Really bad for Trump in Maine when +11 is on the *lower end* of Bidens polling here. Also Biden seems to be breaking away slowly in ME-02.

Is this a typo? Do they mean September?

From July 18-24, 2020 Colby College contacted 968 registered voters in Maine

Another poll that has Biden ahead by double digits and even leading in ME-2. The state will swing hard D this November. ME-2 is Tilt D, the at-lrg and ME-1 are for obvious reasons Safe D.

Northern, rural, secular whites are coming home to Biden. 2016 was a temper tantrum, not a trend.

What exactly makes Golden so popular?

If he keeps up these poll numbers, he absolutely needs to be Kamala's running mate in 2024 or 2028.

He probably won’t even be in Congress in 2023 because this line of thought...

...will be disproven pretty quickly under a Biden presidency.

I really doubt these numbers, especially the ME-02 number. I can buy Golden being favored, but he is not going to win by 23. I mean, come on.

If anything, this makes me a bit worried about Gideon, since she's underperforming Biden by 7, but it could just be that the ME-01/ME-02 samples are further off than the statewide number.

I can only begin to imagine what the 2022 midterms will look like under Biden. We almost forget what happened to Democrats in 2010 after the triumph of 2008.

I really do think it will be different. Democratic turnout will be elevated for a generation thanks to Trump.

That's what 2010, 2014, 2016 really were. High Republican turnout, low Democratic turnout.
