Reminder that Ivana said that Trump had Mein Kampf With him. None of this should be surprising.

Yeah but Joe Biden took a full year to denounce the George Floyd riots, which have thus far cost $7 trillion in damage, so therefore #trump2020

And each one of them is vying to be the "Trump of Trumps".

She's only in it for herself as well, J fern.

I realize that's not as big a sin as being Barack Obama, but I'm sure you can muster some outrage.

But I was told Mr. Trump can't be an anti-semite because of Ivanka?

As a Jew, I think it helps that his anti-Semitism is more moderate (if more appropriate for the 1950's than the 2020's) than his racism, xenophobia, and misogyny. Any other Republican would be held accountable for this, but with Trump, he's saying such terrible things about African-Americans and Latino and Muslim immigrants that it doesn't register.

Doesn't make it less bad if you're POTUS. Trump has set the bar so low for himself, that everything other than complete madness is considered good for him. Imagine if Obama or even W just said something like this.

The leader of one party was identified as "anti-semitic" largely because members of the same party had made relatively mild comments over the years and decades interpreted as such (which would have been laughed away as meaningless had they been about any other group experiencing actual structural discrimination, but alas), whereas another party's actual leader is delving into the most blatant of stereotypes. But OK! They're both the same!

If you think Corbyn's anti-Semitic comments were so mild that they should be laughed away as meaningless, then that says far more about you than it does about Corbyn's anti-Semitism or lack thereof.  I mean, Corbyn has literally referred to Hamas terrorists as "brothers."  Are you seriously arguing that if Trump or Mitch McConnell called two Klansmen who shot up a black church his "brothers," that this would (or should) be laughed away as a "mild" and "meaningless" comment?  Because such a comment would be roughly the equivalent of what Corbyn has said.  And if that's what you think then...well...yikes!

Lastly, Trump and Corbyn don't have to say the same things or be equally anti-Semitic in order both to be deeply anti-Semitic individuals (and both are).  Trump is certainly more dangerous right now, but that isn't a mitigating factor with respect to Corbyn's own anti-Semitism.

Are black churches encroaching on another country's land?

If you think Corbyn’s charges of anti-Semitism are overblown, why engage in an argument about it on a different thread? He’s a has-been, anyway, and Labour’s new leader has a different perspective on combating anti-Semitism.

Trump is trash. We know this. His attitude towards Jews has always been a mix of condescending and passingly hateful. What keeps us relatively safe from him is that we're useful to him because of the same stereotypes that usually work against us. He sees us as money-grubbing business types looking to make a quick buck - and he likes that.

He's still not 1/1000th as dangerous to us as Corbyn was. Was, because the wretched old bigot lost and is now irrelevant. Baruch Hashem.

I get your frustration Griffin, but this conversation really doesn’t belong here as long as you’ve pushed it. Normally I wouldn’t say this, but maybe discord is a better fit for this conversation.

No, he's completely right. Jewish-Americans are white, and we receive all of the benefits it brings. Look at this nation's history, hundreds of thousands of black Americans have been lynched simply for being black, only one Jewish person (Leo Frank) was lynched simply for being Jewish. We have it no harder in America than Italians or Irish and the comparisons to the continued plight of black Americans are disgustingly out of touch.

Antisemitism seems to be an eternal curse on the continent of Europe, but North America has been, and will continue to be, relatively free of it.
