These are all mostly male ones of course as this is a mostly male forum, there are some female hardcore fashion cliches but they aren't as distinct usually (other than the obvious "hair dyed an unnatural color.")

Generally speaking, nobody pays attention to or cares about hardcore and emo.

Voted college hoodie but man I can't believe you didn't include "Hockey jersey of your city's team" because Philadelphia kids wear Flyers jerseys only.

voted for baseball cap with local team on it (I wear a StL Blues hat)

I don't wear a uniform for whatever group I think I belong too, I wear what's comfortable to me that doesn't look too ridiculous.  My wardrobe has been described as only acceptable to the homeless and crazy people (and I'm not homeless).  The aforementioned sports hat, flannel over a Tshirt promoting NOFX or something even more obscure (though I did recently aquire two Community (tv show) shirts, black "sport" shorts, white gym socks, skate shoes/sneakers.  That's what I'm wearing 100% of the time if I'm outside the house and it's not below, say, 20 or above 95.

That's a relatively recent one to develop and I kind of quit noticing hardcore fashion cliches circa 2010ish.

very few people wore these as a uniform, they just were cliches that got imitated a lot. A lot are actually visible in this video hilariously enough. This is actually from some licensed official Lego video too:

(Sound is pretty dated though, it sounds like Madball or something. And sounds nothing like Defeater, the vocalist's band.)

My brother would love you. He has a lot of Fighting Sioux merch and refuses to wear any Fighting Hawks merchandise ever. (Yes, he's a UND alumn.)
