Hospital zum Heiligen Geist, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
I live just around the corner from it now!

My mom was born in Frankfurt too. So were her parents. So were her father's parents.

I also lived within walking distance of the State House for the first eighteen years of my life. It was an interesting neighborhood. Ted Kennedy used to get drunk and parade around the Common doing his animal impersonations when he was up from Hyannisport.

I didn't realize how young most of you were. Even the "old" people on the forum are not even 40.

Anyhow, I was born in a hospital named for an alchoholic LA governor back in the day.

Yup. It's the oldest one in Frankfurt. Goes back to medieval times, though the original building was torn down in the 19th century. It was originally run by monks, but was taken over by the city of Frankfurt during the reformation.
