I am not a conservative, but the Penalty tax on Obamacare was a horrible idea, most low income workers file the hardship on their taxes and never even pay it anyways. Now, that the economy is in a Recession, most low income workers, that are unemployed are on Medicaid

Agreed. Healthcare in particular is the best message for Democrats at this point, and Democrats should try and make sure that voters associate a vote to confirm ACB as also a vote to gut the ACA.

The support isn't anywhere near as firm as it is for Trump. The judges can be as authoritarian as they wish or have a relatively shady personal history, but socons like Hawley have seriously threatened to break ranks if/when Republicans nominate someone who isn't going to be 100% against Roe (as certain evangelicals resent that their priorities are ignored in favour of corporate welfare, although not so much that they'll ever break ranks with the party).

If other Senators followed his lead, that could - in theory - be enough to tip the Senate against someone like Lagoa.
