Not gonna be pretty but even as much as I hate what happened I can still see the legal case for not charging the cops, although the city seems very corrupt here.

If you have to pass a law named after someone banning the thing that killed them, it stands to reason that what happened was previously legal.

A lot of lives might be saved as a result of this tragedy, but there isn't going to be a trial of the officers.

Agree as much as it pains me , the cops probably will and (legally speaking ) do deserve to get off. Ex Post Facto laws are obviously a no-go

They better storm the house of the AG as much as possible. Cameron has the blood on his hands and he better be threatened into charging the cops or worse.

Uh... Threatening AGs into charging people is not how the law or “justice” works.

So how do law and justice work in this case?

Cameron does not have a path to the presidency anyway

Black Democrats won't like him

Black Republicans are not enough IMO

White voters may not want another black president, etc

This is... not good.

Most likely they are declared not guilty, which will lead to worse riots than MN. The police officer who murdered her also sent this inflammatory email to every single Louisville Police Officer.

Does anyone know when the announcement will take place?

And yes I do hope the officers get charged, although I'm not confident that they will.

They won't be declared not guilty, because they were never on trial. And trumpist Cameron is likely to ensure that never happens by deciding not to charge them with anything.

They will.probably all be reinstated or given cushy pensions on our dime, after we already paid the Taylor family for their crime. Scot-free.

KY-SEN is Safe R

McConnell doesn't care about police officers or any of this, he isn't so chummy with police like the rest of the GOP

But Andy Barr probably gets reelected and the KY GOP probably makes gains in the State Senate/House

KY-SEN was already Safe R.

As for Barr, not sure if this affects him as Louisville is not in his district. All I can tell you is Trump is not very popular in KY-06 now. Whether Barr will be able to hold on or not, I don’t know. But I wouldn’t take it for granted.

Trump needs to declare the Insurrection Act if this starts up again. No more BLM terrorism.

Most people can’t even accurately adjudicate an episode of SVU, yet every armchair news watcher has all of a sudden become the head of the FBI. Rule of law, not rule of mob.

The police need to start shooting back with live rounds. Not forcing 17 year olds to do their dirty work for them like in Wisconsin.

Republicans lecturing others about rule of law while the President vows to arbitrarily throw out election results. How quaint.
