Of course she also says no RBG replacement should be confirmed before Inauguration day.

She's in astonishing denial about just how bad things are in this country, and she needs to either retire or be primaried out.

Edit: It occurs to me this may actually be harder with California's top-two primary system.

We’ll see; I highly doubt she sticks to this when push comes to shove if she’d be the deciding vote.  Angus King will be a much tougher nut to crack than Feinstein or even Manchin imo.

Unions whom are arms against Citizens United is the only one that calls for Packing Crts. Coons on Fox News already stated that Dems want to win the election before calling for Fillibuster reform

The same Unions that are blocking the consumers stimulus making Pelosi agree to 600 instead of 300 and you are supposed to have limited expenses when you are on SSI or unemployment. 1200 is the poverty line not 2400

Dianne Feinstein is a relic of the past. It's unfortunate that she didn't retire in 2018 and/or had a better primary challenger.

I’m sure she’ll stick to this, but either way, don’t worry, Daines will introduce a bipartisan Filibuster Reform Bill that will earn the support of every Senator in the United States Senate and settle the issue once and for all

If she keeps this approach after Biden's elected, she should be stripped of her committees. If she isn't interested in governing then she shouldn't be.

She'll be 91 by then.  I think this is it.

Which means that she'll be 97 by the time she retires (at the youngest; she plans on running again in 2024)

Seriously; it's not that I don't like her, she's done a lot of good, but she's just been in the senate too long and seems too out of touch at this point

Personally, I'm split on the filibuster; if we rid of the filibuster, we could get a lot of good now, but it also means Republicans will have an easier time passing their agenda when they win power again. This would only escalate political instability, and what I really want above all else for my generation is political stability.

Political stability is dead, folks. Escalating political instability is the only way to allow a new, better form of political stability.

And it's not like the Republicans "agenda" has been stopped by the filibuster anyway.

Republicans are almost purely reactionary at this point though; a good chunk of their agenda is just repealing what Democrats do.

She's not running for reelection.

She may have filed, but that's just a fundraising tactic, everyone does it.

We gotta remember Feinstein said she was against impeachment at one point. She makes dumb statements a lot of the time but I don't think this is the be-all-end-all of her position

In 2009 the Democrats had 60 senators. They couldn't pass a public option. In 2020, if (big if) they win a majority, they won't even be able to muster 51 votes to get rid of the filibuster. Forget the public option, minimum wage, tuition regulation.

Are the modern Democrats the least effective governing party in history?

Manchin hates Mcconnel for the football feud from what I have heard. He didn't even give a definitive no to court packing. He is a yes IMO.
