We have now passed 11 pm ET on Election Day and the site has not only not crashed, but also worked pretty efficiently all day.

It's kinda funny because despite the fact that it gets less activity, AAD crashed for a while, but the blog stood strong.

Very glad everything worked out and people had an outlet to freak out on for countless hours!

Yeah, that was absolutely impressive. I expected the site to stay up, but to be nearly unusable because of its slow speed. Instead it was working exactly as always.

No matter the results, Virginia was the real winner of the night. Congrats!

Even though I followed everything on CNN and hardly wasn't on here, it seems it worked much better than ever since 2006 ... Not bad.
