My biggest "I can see both sides" issue is abortion.
My biggest "Why are people so passionate about this?" issue is guns.

Though, the real answer at this point is "practically every issue". Like RINO Tom, I've been feeling very emotionally disengaged with politics in recent months - hence why my already-low activity on here has all but dried up entirely. TBH, the only aspect of politics I still enjoy at all is the election polls/maps (because I'm a maths geek *and* a map geek, and poring over election polls and maps is a natural extension of those interests). Any other aspect of politics just leaves me cold these days.

I still follow the news and try to keep myself informed, but it just feels like a chore now, and I usually come out of it wishing I hadn't bothered.

Truly ambivalent:
Immigration
Affirmative action
Prostitution
National debt (i.e. how much to prioritize paying it down)
Single-payer healthcare (vs. a less ambitious plan)
$15 minimum wage (vs. $12 min. wage)

Can see both sides (but generally take the left-wing position):
Guns
Abortion
Military spending
Drug decriminalization
Free trade (which I don't consider a left vs. right issue)

It's a mixed bag. The universal coverage is great. The multi-year waiting lists not so much.

Unions: on the one hand they play an important role in representing the interests of employees, on the other hand they often become corrupt and make unsustainable demands.

Immigration and the BLM movement are the two big ones.  Really, I just have such nuanced and middling views on both to the point that I'm not clearly on either side.  Also with both, I tend to find myself somewhat mirroring the views of whoever I'm talking to but I actually feel like I can be temporarily convinced to move a little in one direction or the other before drifting back to my stable views on them.  The death penalty is another one.  I get both sides and still don't know how I feel about it (in contrast to immigration and BLM, where I know how I feel, but find it hard to articulate my nuanced position).

Also, some weirdo issues like alcohol prohibition would count for this.  I say that I'm for prohibition in theory but against it in practice.

To name a few: more of a federal role in healthcare (e.g. I'd love to just make everyone eligible for the current version of Medicare), carbon tax, investments in renewable energy, higher taxes on high earners, vastly increased federal aid for education, a federal law mandating independent redistricting commissions, stricter anti-trust laws, capital punishment (anti), the CFPB (pro), greater funding for mass transit, right to work laws (anti), NATO (pro), Cuban thaw (pro), gay marriage (pro)
