(1) regional polarization is abating (it didn't appear overnight)
(2) Trump is rapidly losing some significant constituency in these states (except Florida), or
(3) weird and unreliable outlier

It's normal for it to be tolerated by the moderators as our previous Mod Admin, a Republican state legislator irc, determined that Trumpism had made racism and other forms of bigotry much more politically mainstream than previously. Thus cracking down on racist sentiment short of dropping explicit racial ephitats was unduly limiting "mainstream" conservative political thought.
