The only kind of Bud I ever found drinkable was Bud Select. That is not because I never drank other mass-produced American pilsners; at different times I drank PBR, Rolling Rock and Coors. But I always found the cheapest Buds to just taste bad,
If I have to choose between these two, then I'll take Heineken, both because I think it's better and because I am obligated by my current country of residence to prefer it. But my favourite beers to drink by far are German or Belgian wheats.
By the way, there is a really good brewery in St. Louis called Square One. I saw an internet ad from them the other day that said: "Quit trying to please everyone. You are not beer." Best ad I've seen in a while.
