It literally won't anymore. He's made himself look like a petulant child today by whining about not wanting a stimulus and then literally claiming to want a stimulus.

He's burnt all goodwill he had with the american voter, and they definitely won't reward him for doing what he should've done months ago

No change.  There will be no more real movement unless something utterly insane happens.

It will help him in PA and WI, but Pelosi is gonna relent after the election, I don't see Congress not passing a budget before Xmas which includes a 1200 stimulus payment, and waiting til Biden and Dems get sworn in January to pass a steeper stimulus

Refunding the last four years of our lives would help.

It will stop the bleeding. First time in years I've seen supporters on social media second guess him.

Look, even if something were passed, it would take some time to get the stimulus out anyways, time that's no longer there anymore.

The October Stimulus Bump will beat the Goya Beans Bump but not the Van Drew Switch Bump

It'd be virtually impossible to get a stimulus out by election day anyway.

It will be like Ceausescu promising certain benefits the day before he was taken out.

The large majority of this country has given up on Trump and has tuned out.

I listened to AOC talk about how the stimulus talks broke down, doesn't she know that unemployment isn't UBI benefits yet, if they were, then yes, all in on extending unemployment indefinitely. The price tag for 1.6T is enough for the consumers, before a secular Congress is sworn in, January. Then, if D's want to take it to UBI, they can.

Consumers are in dire straighs and she wants to wait til January to give us a stimulus check

I don’t think it will. After yesterday’s events Trump may not get any credit for a stimulus passed over his veto.
