The only thing vaguely interesting about WV is what turnout will be like, given that Trump's promises were just another con job.

Tirillium Carbonic Alloy levels of R made straight from Buzz Lightyear's wings

>70% for Trump and I'm not even kidding

Despite this, Dems can win back WV indefinitely with any plan whatsoever re-enfranchise the state. Take a look at places like McDowell County. It looks like Siberian Mother Russia complete with crumbling Kruschev buildings. Those poor ers don't even have a Wal-Mart to shop at. If you had a plan that would create jobs for 125,000 WV's the response would make the support The New Deal got look fickle.

I'm not Pro-Big Coal but goddamn man not if it means people suffering like this. This country needs to find a way to give these people meaningful existence again. The state is built for the 1950's and 2020 is set on leaving them behind without any plan to modernize it or provide alternatives and solutions to generations of people who only know how to work with their hands and dig.

I don't even have words for how much this breaks my heart. If Trump has done ANY good for these people he's had a successful presidency.

Well, he's tried to screw up Obamacare.  That's about it.

How West Virginia votes at the federal level is a foregone conclusion.  The state legislature is much more interesting at this point....
