If a replacement is confirmed before the election, and then the new SCOTUS rigs the election for Trump - then yes.

There's no civil war but if the Republicans steal the election and the Supreme Court, votes 5-4 to let them do it, with Trump's nominee providing the 5th vote, I could see secessionist movements getting major momentum.  For instance, if the Democrats win the popular vote and generic ballot by like 53-44% but Trump wins PA and FL due to some obvious ballot chicanery and the Senate is split 50-50.  You don't have a democracy at that point.  You have a party representing 44% of the country shredding the constitution to steamroll over the other 56% without any checks or balances whatsoever.

If California secedes I seriously doubt we'd have anything like 1860 where Trump declares war on California to force them to rejoin the Union.  That's basically begging for there to be a military coup.
