Collins will vote against the pick if it doesn't matter.

If Murkowski, Romney and Grassley, for example, make it 50-49, Collins will be the 50th yes vote.

That's who she is and if the people of Maine are stupid enough to get fooled, they deserve to be remembered the same way we remember the Minnesotans who voted for Jesse Ventura.

All would if it is necessary. Not sure if Collins will end up doing so, but I think all others do. McSally and Loeffler have already made that clear in public statements, I think.

P.S. US poliics became stupidly polarized. Compare present situation with Nixon's SC nominees....))). Everyone voted it's conscience then: conservative southern Democrats in Senate voted "for" because nominees were southerners and conservatives, moderate and liberal Republicans - "against", because of ... essentially the same. The most important element of US politics NOW - FEAR. Fear of financial "retributions" on part of ideologized PACs, fear of primary challenge on part of "ideologicaly "pure"" opponents, and so on...

All of them are going to while Murkowski and Collins will vote no. Dean Heller like Corey Gardner voted for Kavanaugh.  Even if Romney votes no, On a tied Senate based on Ernst and McSally, Pence will vote to break the tie. That's why McConnell dont need Romney, Collins or Murkowski vote

Ernst, McSally and Gardner said they will vote for a Conservative.  So even if Romney defects, Rs still have 51 with Pence to move a conservative Justice , either before election or a lame duck session
