This answer about “regulatory burden” on farming isn’t great, but the question is a bit leading.

This Trump voter tried to sneak in a lie in her question, that Biden supports the Green New Deal, and Biden wasn't having it.  Kick some ass, Joe.

Don’t mean to concern troll here tho look at how shocked and upset Biden looked when the lady said their was a sea of trump flags/signs. Ik you may not like to hear it tho I think even he knows not to underestimate enthusiasm.

From Moosic it's not surprising, I think that part of Lackawanna voted something like 65-35 for Trump in 2016

I'm looking forward to seeing Biden and Trump in the same debate.

I’d have agreed up until this last answer. He closed pretty well.

He was pretty decent overall. Some moments when he would just go off topic and not connect what he was saying. But he had good energy and empathy and mostly answered the questions well.

Completely crazy if you watch this and think Biden is "deteriorating"

Enthusiasm really doesn't mean anything at this point. Trump's most enthusiastic supporters are going to show up no matter what, but his problem is that he hasn't expanded much beyond that and some of his softer voters have buyer's remorse.

Biden gave too much of a "professional" answer to the question of working with Republicans. I understand why he said and may feel that way but c'mon Joe, you know that's not going to happen. Republicans are going to filibuster every major piece of legislation that he and the Democrats will want to pass.

Anyways, overall, Joe Biden did good.

Kind of nervous to see many are saying “Biden didn’t do well tonight”

Yeah, Biden was pretty meandering (particularly towards the beginning), but my main takeaway from the townhall is that Biden should be able to do what he needs to do in a debate in order to hold his lead, especially with the low bar being set. Also some strong lines like the one about not having an Ivy.

If this is a precursor for how the debates are going to turn, Trump needs to worry big time because he's going to be wiped out.

Based on this performance, Joe Biden is going to destroy Donald Trump in the debates.
Generally, it seems angry Joe is the "best" Joe, at least in a debate type setting. There's no room to call him sleepy in angry (which is closer to being frustrated/animated than full on anger) mode.

All he had to do was not make himself look like a complete idiot like Trump did in his town hall. Mission accomplished.

#POPULIST JOE

Trump playing the elitist angle would turn off a lot of soft support in the more elastic WWC areas that he needs to keep and even improve in.
