Was Dude Fest "problematic" because of the whiteness of the musicians?

So I was thinking recently that if Dude Fest happened today and some people with pronouns in their Twitter bios found out about it they would probably throw a fit and call it a white supremacist fest because the musicians' racial makeup is something like 92% white/6% Hispanic/2% Asian and the crowd is similar and the number of black people who attended it throughout its whole existence is probably in the single digits (I saw one black guy there both years I went) despite many of the bands' openly feminist politics and everyone having progressive politics.

(Of course modern day hardcore fests are of a similar racial ratio and I've never heard anyone complain so certain people on Twitter are probably just not aware of it.)

A long time ago but I was on the other side then. Then it got ridiculous when a bunch of people on Tumblr took it in other directions. For example note the lyrics to this song:

Also some of these bands talked about Latino people...and guess what, called them Latino! Not some stupid f[inks]ing made up word that completely sh!ts on Spanish grammar. Why couldn't we just keep it that way?

But you can probably blame a truly terrible former poster here called omegascarlet. One of the most deranged and utterly f[inks]ed up people who have posted here. I cringe just thinking of how much of a truly sick person she was.
