There are a lot of Questions here about Jr. running for Senate in 2000 and his career thereafter. But here's another what-if. In 1992, Al D'Amato barely beat NY AG Robert Abrams by 1.2% while JFK Jr. would be 32 at the time. So, if JR, who gave a speech at the 1988 DNC, ran for Senate that year, would he have beaten Al and would he have gone if he ran for President in 2004?

I think it’s definitely possible.
