Both margins are large improvements over Clinton.

Should be noted this isn't new, and is just an average of NBC/WSJ polls so far this year

I understand that there are fluctuations in Biden's lead in some of the swing states from poll to poll, but all the data we have on demographics and congressional districts when taken as a whole really paints a grim picture for Trump. Other than Florida hispanics and possibly hispanic voters nationwide, there doesn't seem to be a single demographic (age, education, race, religion, etc.) in which Biden isn't greatly outperforming Hillary Clinton.

I was told Gen Z was gonna be the most conservative generation ever.

"Well, I'm sure as hell not voting for Donald Trump" apparently sums up how a vast majority of my fellow Millenials and Gen-Z'ers feel about this election.

(And I'm right there with them.)

And while it's not impossible that they are bacon for life, it goes a long way towards formulating their ongoing political views for decades.

Are there race crosstabs on the poll?

One theory I heard is that white Zoomers are actually trending slightly right or stagnant compared to white millenials, but because Zoomers skew more non-white that is easily offset and countered.

That's actually... a lot worse for Biden then I've been seeing lately. The 2016 exit poll was +19 Clinton for 18-29 (almost all Millenials, a little Gen Z). Not a huge improvement for Biden, and it's likely this poll is not entirely accurate nor the exit poll in 2016.

Thing is...the Republicans had a chance and burnt it away.
Gen-Z has certain attributes which could have pushed them towards a new conservative movement, but the Republicans seemed to not take advantage of this opportunity.
Had the GOP been pro-marijuana/LGBT and had come up with conservative-friendly plans to fight climate change, they could have created a new movement. Zoomers are far-left now as a reaction against Trumpism.

I guarantee you, the same girls who tout paper straws and vote Bernie could easily have been pushed towards voting for a charismatic conservative had the GOP put effort into it.

It’s too late now. The moment Trump got elected was the end of a Zoomer-Conservative movement. The sheer stupidity of the GOP pushed my generation far to the left, and it’s well deserved. Maybe Zoomers will become more conservative later in life, but that will require a different GOP from today.

"Conservatives could have attracted liberals if they stopped being conservatives," doesn't really make sense.

No.

This is not a poll per say. It's an average of this demo is NBC/WSJs polls the entire year, so not really too great considering we're going back to January before even the primary

Even more damning is that Trump can't even win white Millennials or Zoomers.

White Millennials are Biden +6 and White Zoomers are Biden +8.

I don't know if I trust a poll conducted by the world's newest flop streaming service.

I mean, Fox News is a great pollster.

Confirming what we already know. There is no future republican party in its current form. The door to appeal to younger people was already fast closing and Trump slammed it shut. The oldest millennials will be entering their 40s now and have yet to become more conservative.

White Millennials are Biden +6 and White Zoomers are Biden +8.

To put this in more context, the oldest Millennials are now turning 40.

In 2008, white voters aged 30-44 (born 1964-1978, so Gen X) voted for McCain by 16 points according to exit polls.

To put this in even more context, in 2016, white voters aged 30-44 voted Trump by 17 as well. (And whites voted for Trump by 4). This is also according to exit polls.

Seems too favorable to Trump, to be honest. Biden will probably end up winning the under 40 vote by 30-35 points.
