Probably would have skipped voting for it.

I honestly would probably leave the ballot blank. I'd for sure never vote for a Republican.

I cast a split ticket for Northam/Vogel/Adams.

For Vogel at least, I feel quite vindicated in my choice.

Given this is with hindsight, Jill Vogel. That said, I wouldn't have voted for Fairfax in the primary either.

Fairfax. That woman had consensual sex with him at the 2004 DNC and is just crying rape because she regrets it. Oldest trick in the book.

If I only knew about the scandal that came out in 2019 and nothing else from hindsight: Vogel
If I had perfect hindsight and knew everything that would have occurred since then: Fairfax.

Well there's two women, not just the one. And it really makes no sense for them to be lying. If they feel ashamed of the consensual sex they had, why would they put their names in the papers? If it's a GOP conspiracy like people say, then it's a pretty crappy one, since it produced no positive results at all for Republicans. Instead of "rising star" Justin Fairfax, the Dems can just go with any other of a half dozen other viable Dems for all 3 statewide offices in 2021.

Definitely Jill Vogel. The Fairfux vote is *the* biggest regret of my entire voting history. I have spoken with Vogel a few times in events and she is genuinely a nice person who cares about the Commonwealth. We definitely have differences in opinion but she isn’t a crazy right winger...in fact if the VA GOP wants to be relevant they need to go with her brand of a more pragmatic conservatism. She has voted in favor of expanding Medicaid and is pro LGBT rights. She is the very best of the VA GOP and I’d be proud to have her as Lt Gov.

Would've voted for Fairfax. Any Democrat is better than the best Republican possible.

I am not sure who I would have voted for in hindsight. But I vaguely remember news about that that race being the most competitive and that even at the time Justin Fairfax was not that well regarded. Maybe I wrong? But in fall of 2017 I did not even know of Prince William County's existence off the top of my head.

Speaking of your statements on Vogel: It is a somewhat of a myth that the VA GOP has no moderates. They actually avoided being blown out in the house of delegates and the state senate by having fairly moderate candidates in the Hampton Roads and Richmond metros.

Could someone like Glenn Davis win Lt. Governor next year? Early to tell but possible.
