67% of voters say they are in favor of a ballot measure that would do just that
https://www.monmouth.edu/polling-institute/documents/monmouthpoll_fl_091520.pdf/ (question 5)

This hasn't really been seen in a swing state.

This also really worries me bc I don't think the FL dem are anywhere near able to manage something like this due to them being the Florida Democratic Party

Wow, there is a lot of support for minimum wage stuff.

What's interesting about this poll, too.

Party Registration
35% Republican
28% Other/none
37% Democrat

Self-Reported Party
33% Republican
35% Independent
32% Democrat

Seems pretty accurate to me.

yeah the minimum wage stuff was really good it was 49%-46% among Republicans

interestingly minimum wage increases were most popular among elderly voters and least amount younger voters

I'll be voting against it.

Probably not this feels like the kind of thing that polls much better than it actually gets popular support at the ballot box with.

67-27 is a huge lead, granted I believe it needs 60% to pass

Jungle primaries are better than the current system but I feel like ranked choice jungle primaries would be better. It'd be like STV used in Ireland and the top two get to advance to a (in my dreams) ranked choice general election

Jungle primaries are awful.  The main deciding factor isn't who the voters like best but which party is able to clear the field the best.  Just look at what's going on in Georgia, where we may have a GOP-vs-GOP general election because Warnock is having trouble clearing the field.

Imagine if the presidential primaries were a jungle system and Ted Cruz had challenged Trump and received 40% of the vote or something.  Since the Democrats were unable to clear the field we'd end up with a Trump-vs-Cruz general election.

If it was bundled with ranked-choice voting, it may be worth it, but without RCV, it's a trash system that is open to manipulation or letting fringe candidates through with voting splitting.

I would never support top-two on its own anywhere.
