Lol Ducey, DeSantis, Kemp, and Abbott

The first one can enjoy having his political career ruined and being crushed by Kelly, if he runs for Senate in 2022. The next two can enjoy losing re-election. The last one can enjoy possibly losing a primary to the one of the few people more unpopular in TX than he is.

Also Cuomo is looking like strong 2024 VP material

The three most popular Governors in the country-Hogan, Baker, and Scott-continue to enjoy commanding approval ratings with regards to their coronavirus response, which doesn't surprise me at all. They truly have vindicated their pre-virus reputations and the judgment of the voters in their states who reelected them handily in 2018. I'm not surprised by many of the other ratings: DeSantis, Abbott, Kemp, and Ducey have cemented their places as having some of the worst responses to the virus, although other luminaries such as Noem, Brown, Lee, Northam, Ivey, Dunleavy, Reynolds, Newsom, and Evers haven't distinguished themselves either.

And my state's Governor, Polis, has an approval that is pretty much in line with his voteshare from 2018, which doesn't surprise me either, as many of the right-leaning types here continue to rankle with the actions he has taken, such as his mask mandate.

This is why the MO-GOV polls confuse me. Parson at 39%, and yet they say he's winning the election by 15 points? Not likely.

Cuomo would never settle for VP, he has an ego to rival the best of them. It's president or nothing for Andrew.

Wolf - one of the best responses - tied with Noem, one of the worst. Pennsylvania's a dumb, dumb, state.

All the Southern states seem to be lowly rated, especially the ones who kept beaches open.

Most of the criticism I've heard of Southern governors is actually that they did too much.  Like people are angry at Bill Lee for allowing counties to choose to have mask mandates and still allowing 6 urban counties to make other restrictions, even though he rejected a statewide mask mandate and we don't have any statewide business restrictions that I can think of.

I also notice that they didn't give the disapproval numbers.  I wonder if there's a mixed/unsure number that a lot of people are falling into.

Gordon's approval goddamn well should be dropping. His performance all around, not just when it comes to COVID, has been a f**king nightmare.
