Biden +11

Kanye West: 1%

Quote
The findings were released by the liberal advocacy group ProgressNow Colorado, which contracted with Democratic firm Global Strategy Group to conduct the survey.

The pollsters surveyed 800 likely Colorado voters between Aug. 28 and Sept. 1, with a breakdown of party affiliations — 43% unaffiliated voters, 27% Republicans and 30% Democrats — that roughly mirrors the latest statewide breakdown reported by the Secretary of State’s Office. The poll has a 3.5% margin of error.

The poll finds Joe Biden leading Trump by 11 points in the presidential race. Kanye West will be on the state’s ballot in that race, too, and he received 1% support.

The poll finds that in the U.S. Senate race, Republican incumbent Gardner is down 10 points to Democratic challenger Hickenlooper, the former governor.

This is a very reasonable result, and about where I expect the race to land.

Interestingly enough, this was also in the direct aftermath of the RNC (not sure why they held onto it for 2 weeks), but if Biden is still +11, that is bad. Very bad.

It's not like 538 is expressing their opinion here.  They are simply providing an average of the polls, or "data" if you will.  You can, of course, choose to believe that the data and information available to you is not real or hope that there is some massive polling error.  I understand that this is Republican orthodoxy these days.

Biden is gonna romp here and Virginia. 12-15 point range. Crazy how these were swing states 10-15 years ago.

Interesting that Trump's favourable rating in CO has gone down during the year, but his job approval rating up.

Biden has seen his favourable rating rising, but his lead dropping by 1% - because of the inclusion of Jorgensen, Hawkins and West as options.

My guess would be it's smoking a simple script that chooses from a list of canned responses weighted by keywords scraped from the subject line.

Pretty good result for Jorgensen (although that's still less than Johnson got there in 2016).

I actually want some of it. I wish I was capable of such cognitive dissonance like this that can keep me feeling optimistic and secure about my preferred candidate even in light of a poll such as this one.
