Gardner continues to be DOA like he has been for the past two years. This race remains Likely/Safe D.

I understand that they tend to be more conservative on ratings, but I really don't understand why they still have this race as a Tossup when it has clearly not been one since the start of the cycle.

Safe D, but Dems could have done better than Hickenlooper. He isn't a disastrous candidate, but not a great one either. This is a seat that was always going to flip barring a Martha Coakley or even Roy Moore tier candidate, so I wish we would have nominated a younger and more inspiring candidate. Doesn't have to be strong left, but just more energetic and likeable.

Cook has always been prone to rating way too many Senate races as toss-ups. That said, insisting CO-SEN is a toss-up while AZ-SEN and MI-SEN are Lean D is definitely the weirdest thing about their Senate ratings this year. I’m surprised there aren’t more Atlas memes about Unbeatable Titan Cory Gardner.

LOL in 2018, we were at 25 House seats and the Gov map was not expanded until the last few week of the election where SD Gov, FL Gov, OH Gov, IA Gov all became tossups and 40 House races became into play instead of 25.
