LMAO, like 2/3 of the sample was on Landlines and the rest was MTUrk and they could only find Trump at 44%.

Good poll for Biden.  Emerson is a much better pollster than half the crap posted on here.

So according to Emerson, Trump has a +2 net approval rating 49%/47% yet is behind by 7 points in Wisconsin. Got it.

Not surprising, polling has suggested Biden is winning seniors in Wisconsin. Young Boomers/Old Xers are Trump's core in the state.

Emerson is as good as morning consult which is for some reason way more respected. Good poll for Biden obviously.

And that's with Trump +0.5% 2016 sample...  The sample is also way too white.

Looks like the winner of Trump-Biden in Kenosha last week was Biden.

So what does this say about their MN poll a month ago?  Has Biden's lead really widened that much, or is there actually a legitimate chance that MN votes to the right of WI?

When undecided are pushed:

Biden 52%
Trump 45%
Someone else 4%

MN poll was probably just an outlier. The SurveyUSA poll showing it as Biden +9 makes more sense if Wisconsin is +7.

Ah, Wisconsin. Reminds me of that old Trump nugget of wisdom that remains as true now as it was back then:

“There are two things I hate: The Green Bay Packers and the troops.”

The really good news here...

Voted for "someone else" in 2016: Trump 25%, Biden 63%
Did not vote in 2016: Trump 8%, Biden 58%

Voted for "someone else" in 2016: Trump 25%, Biden 63%
Did not vote in 2016: Trump 8%, Biden 58%

This seems pretty consistent across polls. Fits with the theory that people who didn’t like either last time are willing to vote for Biden.

How did Emerson manage to release a poll with only 2% undecided? Are we sure this is the real Emerson?

A note on Emerson's poll partner: It's polling partner is NewsNation, which airs on Nexstar-owned WGN America every night from 8PM EDT-11PM EDT/7PM CDT-10PM CDT that debuted on September 1st.
