It's funny to think how much talk there was (that I bought into) after 2004 that New Jersey would be Republican in another couple of cycles.

Almost like the Minnesota talk we're seeing.

This certainly is a reasonable result - but to have the sample in NJ be 75% white is not realistic.

Seems about right, even by Emerson standards. It's especially interesting that Trump loses by the margin between his approval and disapproval.

There are not currently any circumstances where NJ will flip R in a federal election

Pre-pandemic there were some mentally ill people on PredictIt claiming that Trump would win the popular vote in part because he would outperform in New Jersey.
