Dearly beloved,

We are gathered here to honor the charished memory of those we have loved and lost.

Interesting how they are all Republicans.

P.S. Rats, I forgot MarkDel.  Just put him in as "other" and tell us who.

He challenged my loyalty to my Party because I was rooting for the eventual winner of my Party's Pennsylvania Senate Primary.  How dare I support a real Republican over a conservanut Constitution-Party-wannabe.

Well, he was wrong to do that, but for Christ's sake, Don.  We've been over this about Toomey.  I don't want to bring it up again.  Toomey is thinking about coming back in 6 years by the way.  I have that on good authority from a friend who knows him personally.

Hopefully by then his candidacy will have been nothing but a distant, nightmarish memory.

And another thing, I find it highly unusual that you would be calling Toomey a "Contitution Party conservanut" when, not only did you agree with Toomey on far more of his policy statements (17-3), but you and I both got 100% for Jim Clymer, the Constituion Party right-wing conservanut who is running for Senate in PA!!!!

You know I love you, Don, but your an enigma to me.  You seem to always be talking one way and walking another.

I was saddened that there would be any test that would compare me with a Constitution Party member, let alone a candidate.

I do agree more with Toomey than with Specter.  But I need Arlen Specter out there to balance out the Sam Brownbacks of the world.  Toomey is to my right, Specter is way to my left... but our party has enough right-wingers.  I believe in balance, Specter provides that.

For those of us with long enough memories (back to the old Forum), I choose Brandon20...with JustJoe83 a close second.

I miss Ryan. I used to like his posts, and I'm sorry he's gone. He was a real link to the distant past of this forum.

I also miss dunn, but I haven't given up hope that he will still return.

That's great, Don, Specter is going to be gone in 6 years (or so he says) so what problem do you have with Toomey running in 2010?

He should be banished from politics forever for running against a respected Republican incumbent.

Should Specter retire, I would hope for an honorable replacement.  Sam Katz for Senate!!!

I will ommit several people who I don't really view as longlost...that'd include MarkDel and Dazzleman, and possibly also DarthKosh.

I voted Mr. Fresh, since he's the person I had most personal contact with of the above. But most of those were great people.

I voted for someone else on this list but if MarkDel was on there I'd vote for him... This forum lost a great Republican debater when he decided not to come here as much.
