Not in being talked about, it should be because DeJoy is a piece of sh!t who belongs in jail along with Trump. However the chicken littling and people who basically jilust spam "doesn't matter Trump will win because voter suppression" to every single piece of bad news for Trump is a whole other story.

While the mail has slowed thanks to DeJoy's sh!t, here are some other facts:

-Mail-in voting starts next week and many states give well over a month before the election. Almost all give several weeks. Most Democrats aren't going to just sit on their ballot and send them in the last couple days before the election.
-Many states do allow whether an absentee ballot sent has been delivered to be verified online.
-Unless a person is actually absentee, mailed ballots will travel in the same county and frequently same city. The office for mine is 1.7 miles from my apartment. Even a mail slowdown will have little effect, even if it doubles that delivery time that equals an extra day only.
-Many states offer dropboxes and Trump's lawsuits to block them habe been shot down.
-Since people are aware of this many have plans to hand deliver their ballots to said offices.
-If Biden is up by ten points that would require almost 1/5 of votes cast for him to be suppressed, and something like 30-40% of ALL mail-in votes to be rejected. That seems pretty extreme even if mail delivery time is twice as long for the reasons mentioned.

And of course this IS discussed well and noted elsewhere. This is the only place where discussions on it are mostly just bedwetting and chicken littling instead of serious discussions of the above and how to counter it.

All it takes is a few thousand or tens of thousands of ballots in key states.

Also consider that local police departments will likely arrest people who "look like antifa" while they're on line to vote, and will also likely "confiscate" ballots in high-minority areas

There's no such thing as over-blowing an open and direct threat to election integrity being made from the top.

If only we had Jeb as President, he'd never steal an election.

BRTD, you are wrong because

A)

All it takes is a few thousand or tens of thousands of ballots in key states.

and

B)

have you ever looked at OR's daily mail return numbers before a general election ?

Literally the bulk of mail returns come in the final 5 days before election day (incl. election day itself).

So, even if 50.000 come in late, it could hand a state to Trump.

Also, most voters are politically uneducated and unlike Atlas posters who will make sure to submit their ballot early. The vast majority of voters are dumb and wait until the last week.

Oregon is 100% mail voting--how would this automatically help Trump?

I think the implication is that it is likely that most mail-in ballots will be cast relatively close to the election, which is probably a pretty safe assumption.

Hundreds of millions of pieces of mail are processed each day.

Mail-in voting will only be consequential in a handful of states.

Stop worrying.

Yes because it doesn't exist.    But people are going to mail in their ballots the night before the deadline and when they aren't counted Democrats will yell about Trump suppressing the vote.

I ordered a sticker from Biden's campaign 3 *weeks* ago. Still haven't gotten it. Don't think it's overblown.

Even in the primary in June in PA this year, it took the mail 9 days to get me my ballot. And that was *INTER COUNTY* mail.

No, and in the unlikely chance it is, it'll just boost turnout.

It's only a handful of states that are critical in the EC to begin with.

There is a difference between this and (as you and others often do) screaming and bedwetting that the election is already lost and Biden has no chance (see yku insisting that Wisconsin is Safe R) often with just short little couple word posts over and over amd not even adding to the discussion on this.

No, but Republicans did receive a setback after showing what was probably their best card so early in the game. Everybody is requesting and returning their ballots early. This should scare Republican because a lot Trump campaign is based around "tightening" and "last-minute surge".

Could be that they're just overwhelmed at the moment. Probably processing a lot of orders.

I ordered a thing (not a political thing) two weeks ago, it said 5-7 business days. I was freaking out about it until yesterday when I got an email saying that my order had finally been processed. So it's only been shipped just now.

Wow all the mail-in votes came in on time and there's very few late ballots after all!

I will now accept my accolades.

LOL yeah this totally happened.

Just to play devil's advocate, how do we know this didn't cost us North Carolina?

The danger wasn't that mail ballots wouldn't be delivered, it was the danger that the for the first time in American history a sitting president honestly and publically made his intent to stop people from voting
