https://www.publicpolicypolling.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/MinnesotaPoll9420.pdf

September 3-4, 2020
877 voters

Smith 49% (+1)
Lewis 41% (+2)
Someone else 3% (not in previous release)
Not sure 7% (-6)

Generally speaking which party would you like to be in control of the US Senate: the Democrats or the Republicans?

Democrats 51%
Republicans 44%
Not sure 4%

Edit: MoE: 3.3%. Added changes with the last PPP poll, which was commissioned by Giffords and taken July 22-23.

Ratings for this race should be synchronized with the presidential race in MN

Likely Democratic. What I've always wondered though is who are these people voting for Klobuchar, but not for Smith or Biden (or even Obama in 2012)?

Lewis seems to be gaining ground, literally all the polling in the race have showed him tied & him overperforming Trump's numbers, so I think it would be fair to say he overperforms Trump, especially in the suburbs, that are looking for a check on a possible president Biden.

Toss up.

lmao what? Lewis and Trump are trailing by the same margin, and Lewis is getting a lower share of the vote than Trump.

A potential concern for Democrats if the national race tightens. If Biden wins by a decent margin, though, it’s hard to see how Smith loses.

Lean/Likely D.

Franken would be in the same spot just like Smith.
