Joe Biden runs for the Democratic nomination in 2016, and defeats Hillary Clinton in the primaries.

Donald Trump still wins the Republican nomination.

Who does Biden pick as his running mate?

Who wins?

Warren, since he made clear to her in real life that he wanted her to be his running mate were he to have ran, & they definitely would've won decisively: he knows how to speak to the working class &, as such, would've not only held the Rust Belt in line but would've added at least one of FL, IA, OH, or NC to his total too, & probably all of them, to be frank.

Not just that, Biden's coattails probably give him a Senate majority to work with come January. In addition to Kirk & Ayotte, we could definitely add Toomey & Johnson to the 2016 loss list & probably add Portman, Young, Blunt, & Rubio too.

In the end, we'd probably wind up with 50-54 Democratic Senators & an extremely popular Democratic President.
