I’m from Alaska, but whatever.

So this bill is meant to continue the bill that was passed last time to continue for a few more years. Other then a few minor aesthetic changes and crossing out the last section entirely out of insolvency, it is ready to be passed and really speaks for itself

Haven't we banned anti-homeless architecture before? And don't we already have a seperate public housing program?

Yes, that’s why I urged that the clause should be removed. This merely extends that program

Accordingly, I move that section 3 be struck in its entirety.

Second this. Seems redundant to me based on the previous bill.

Additionally, there's a major disparity in funding between the two bills. Is this due to the budget crunch, or oversight?

So this bill is basically renewing funding for the Ministry of Landless People, established in the Fremont Homeless Integration Act?

Would it be better to just make the funding annual, unless there's some reason for it to be temporary? If I had to guess, maybe the 6 million was meant to be 6 billion to account for the original bill allocating 1.2 billion for one fiscal year. But maybe now that the ministry is established, it doesn't need as much funding to keep running (already taken care of initial building start-up costs). I'm not sure. I think the best thing to do is to come up with an annual allocation for the ministry... and strike the "approximately" from the bill to keep the treasury happy.

Maybe somethin' like this, Siren?

Proposing this amendment. If the funding needs to be changed that's fine.

Pretty much. I'd change it slightly to come out like this.

Not to be an @ss, but it should read "$1.2 million is appropriated," not "are appropriated." I'm invoking my ministerial right to make such amendment unilaterally, in lieu of any objections.
