I don't think a Republican has a chance here

Giuliani and Trump severed the NYGOP brand here

Giuliani would be chased out of NYC these days

A Republican could win in the 2030s, maybe

Hence why Rose would lose

Rose is not a Republican. Why do you think Rose is a Republican, because he was in the military?

That Marxist user you are replying to is afraid of confident, masculine WWC men. Max Rose is a hero

I don't think Rose would run anyway---he should seek a 2022 rematch and he could beat Malliotakis.

Rose's lane is the same lane Stringer has---white ethnic outerborough voters---those voters are moving out of NYC in droves---but they are still electorally relevant

He will beat Maliotakis. https://davesredistricting.org/join/ec3ff897-ed04-4630-bf4c-d075ad7839fa

Yang has led in every poll that he is in, and in many of them, he has led by landslide margins. He is easily the best-known candidate. I think he wins the primary and wins the general.

Scott is amazing as usual.

Unfortunately nobody cares about any of this.

New York City is full of idiots. The average Yang voter probably gushingly approves of Cuomo because of the press fawning in the past year and hates De Blasio because the media tells them to. Never mind that Cuomo has been fighting De Blasio to take a sh**t on the MTA and flip the city for a profit for years now.

Let's not forget name recognition means more than anything.
Do you have any evidence of this???

As much as I want him to be the nominee, I've got the strangest hunch that Yang won't be.
He's been leading in every poll, and in most by decent amounts. Why?

Yang is still dominating the polls, I expect him to win by a larger than expected margin.
