It was the stupid drug test request bump.  Trump really knows how to shoot himself in the foot.

HarrisX is trash but their trendline is certainly interesting: this month they've gone from Biden +3 to Biden +4 to Biden +6 to Biden +8 and now Biden +9.

Up from last week. Change up from 2 weeks ago. YouGov/Econ stable, Morning Consult up 1, and YouGov/Yahoo up by 2 I believe.

Certainly not the "tightening" I keep hearing about

15% undecided is crazy high. We saw a lot of polls like this in 2016.

But polls like this were the norm, rather than the exception, in 2016. Biden usually goes above 50.

And sub-40 is awful for an incumbent.

So mixed poll IMO.

Just watch them next week to go Biden +3 or 4 and people start talking about the RNC bump.
I'm calling it now.

True, just like how Rasmussen did the same thing.

Speaking of trashy online pollsters, shocking Optimus Prime hasn't been around in a bit?

If you’re assuming Biden actually needs to win the PV is by 10 to win the EC because -reasons-, then I guess the race is indeed “tightening”.

You are probably correct.
Let's see if it happens.
