So Facebook recently started banning pages on Anarchist content, most notably the page of the Insurrectionary group CrimethInc, whom are quite unhappy and quick to condemn Facebook on the move. Considering the state of the United States, and the specific advice given that the State would rather not be available and seen widely by the public, it’s kind of a no brainer that they’re target #1.

Anyway, as none of these pages are seen to have broken any ToS and the fact that conservative paramilitaries still have their pages open, there’s been some uproar and concern that this course of action could impede on the freedom that is still there on the Internet. A recent Change.org petition seems to have grown, attracting widespread support from reformists and revolutionaries alike. Considering the increased monopolized environment of social media currently and the now undeniable collaboration of the State and owners of Capital specialized for this current era, this is a cause for concern for us all.

Facebook is never going to be a positive contributor to society. They're just incapable of it.

Excellent news. Glad to hear SOMETHING positive about Facebook.
The fact of the matter is that nothing CrimethInc. Or the PNW collective has posted on the site exactly bars ToS, they have not provided or encouraged crimes through Facebook. This is, without a doubt, an immense concern to the ability to self-express ones political views.

From the actions of censorship against right leaning pages and content by these social media platforms, we should be wary and mostly intolerant of such behavior.
