Ralph Nader did a lot of great things for America but nobody cares anymore, which is sad. And we have a President in Trump who just ignores Nader's fundamental life's work because he's lawless.

c'mon man, nader needs some feet pics too
In hindsight I’m surprised Nader hasn’t been #MeToo’d for flashing the interns or something like that.

Way back in the 60s, GM hired prostitutes to entrap him and get incriminating pictures. He was too good a man to fall for it, which is way more than I can say for most today who criticize everything about him.

Not only that but it was a scandal and they had to apologize and people were outraged. Today FoxNews would question his sexuality, demonize him in every possible way, GM would have talking points ready for the entire Republican party and legislation would be dead on arrival.

Congress is totally broken because of The Republican Party and it's stopping real progress in this country.

I don't think it's unfair or irrational to balance an appreciation for Nader's consumer advocacy with disappointment that he got too ambitious for his own good by at least partially helping Gore lose in 2000 and usher in the disastrous Bush era.

He was also hyping Trump or some other rich person running for President for many years with the bright idea that they couldn't be bought. Which really shows a lack of sound judgement.
