yes, we all know the Gulf monarchies don't care about the Palestinians

And neither do Iran, Turkey or any of the others who profess to care. the Palestinian people's greatest card was always to pressure regular people, who will in turn pressure their leaders. This is slipping now, clearly, so I really hope they see the writing on the wall and turn to serious negotiations and a willingness to make real compromise, and that they find a partner on our side.
