I think it's a little hard to compare this to the previous few election results since McMullin's 2016 campaign and Romney being a Mormon in 2012.

It is weird that

(1) strong approval is about as high as strong disapproval, and
(2) that slight approval is so large.

This could reflect how pollsters ask questions. In a state whose polls are wild in divergence in results (although all give Biden no chance) strange things can happen. Trump is a hideous match for Utah as a Republican. I would love to contrast approval of Trump to that of Obama now. Obama is far closer to Mormon values at the least in his family life than is Trump.

This is entirely plausible in terms of Trump '20 floor in UT absent a serious 3rd Party Contender.

All that said, I would not be surprised to see UT PRES GE % Vote margins a bit less than +19% Trump.

Biden should most likely significantly out-perform Obama '08 in UT, especially if we look at the current ntl % baseline and also look at Trump's "appeal" to many LDS adherents, which needless to say is a bit lacking, not to mention younger Mormons in Utah not necessarily voting the same way that their parents did a few decades back bcs of shifts in generational cultural "value orientation" and themes.
