Socially progressive is most likely Alaska.
Racially progressive may be Alaska or Utah or maybe some other state out West.

I wouldn't discount Hawaii though. There are more non-White Republicans than White Republicans in Hawaii.

But let me be pedantic on one thing:
Considering how many Hawaiians are of Asian descent I think that California is more diverse than Hawaii, although Hawaii is the least White state.

Diverse =/= non-White
