Finally some good data.

The last poll of this race showed Kennedy leading with registered Dems and Markey leading with unaffiliated/independents. That appears to be completely reversed here (good news for Markey, since registered Dems are the overwhelming majority of the electorate).

Markey's leads in Boston and Middlesex here are probably close to insurmountable if they hold.

Markey leads with college educated voters, which is critical in this state.

All signs here point to Markey clearly being favored.

Rooting for Markey, but I'm expecting a Kennedy win in the mid or high single digits. Unfortunately.

Speaking as someone who actually knows this state and what’s going on - on the ground. It’s evident that complacency combined with (IDK how else to say it) uninformed voters - has made this thing LIKELY Markey.

It’s frankly embarrassing. This isn’t Warren we’re talking about. It’s ED MARKEY. Against a young and talented politician who is ALSO a Kennedy and Markey is going to win? I almost feel as pathetic as Tennesseee who voted Blackburn over Bredesen.

Uninformed voters are going for JKIII. That's his whole appeal.

Yeah no.

But seriously, I think the poll has a bad weighing problem with education.  I don't think the different from Super Tuesday to this primary is going to be more than 20% like this is suggesting.

Yes, my over-educated middle aged liberal peer group who all know who AOC is, are all voting Markey. My mom’s voting Markey because she’s unimpressed by Kennedy. It’s possible there’s a majority out there of people not like me voting Kennedy—may even be probable—but Markey’s support isn’t soft.

I was talking to someone who works for the campaign who says:

• The race is tightened for sure. That they concede.
• You nailed it on education, they think the poll has major problems because of that very issue
• Turnout will be the difference, all things being equal JK still wins - but if turnout isn’t on point then it could go to Markey

Now I don’t agree with what he said to me. I’m far more pessimistic but we’ll see

Unsurprising opinions from the previous three posters and all the more reason to support Markey.
