Also, who are the 14% of Dems and 17% of Liberals that somewhat or strongly approve of McConnell (pg 264)

My take would be socially conservative ancestral Dems in Appalachia and parts of the Rust Belt, who consider themselves pro-life and strongly supported McConnell's Garland obstruction and his actions crusade to fill the federal judiciary with Federalist Society judges. Why 17% consider them liberals, I have no idea. Maybe only on economic issues. Or they just don't know McConnell.
