This has to my knowledge not happened since Grover Cleveland but is a serious possibility. Especially if Trump alleges some kind of voter fraud, will he try to run again?

No, given how he didn't even wanna be President in the first place & now absolutely hates being President. He's only running for re-election because his ego is so over-inflated that he can't fathom quitting, let alone losing. Once he's already lost & out of office, though, there's nothing keeping him attracted to the job.

He'll spend Inauguration day 2021 till around January 2023 saying that he's "seriously considering running again" only to announce at the last minute that he won't. Running for the Presidency and running for re election are nothing more than an ego trip. He hates the job and HATES the responsibility that comes with the Presidency.

For the longest time I thought he would, but now he knows how hard the job is he'll be too lazy to run again. His status as a former president will allow him to continue calling into Fox and giving his ego boosting rallies, his true passion.

Jr. will run instead

Quitting would actually be one of the best ways to serve his ego.  He gets to bask in the glow of his unexpected 2016 win for life, while saying the Democrats or Fake News Media never beat him.  If a successor Republican would have won in 2020 he can claim they did so off his legacy, but he'd also be able to play off a losing GOP nominee by simply telling his true believers he "would have won".  He can then do whatever he wants (new, alt-right cable news outfit?), while trolling the GOP every election cycle after 2020 by hinting that he may come back for his "second term" only to never pull the trigger again.

This is kind of what I was expected Trump in do for most of 2017-18, but I suppose the old adage "power corrupts" is true in this case as well.

Eugene Debs did! Didn't work out well for him or anything, but he did.

Maybe as an independent, yet the GOP-Establishment is furious with portions of Trump most likely and will not seek to have another Trump Administration. The GOP got what they wanted, yet they will likely seek to move to a more centrist platform after this year.

He's fundamentally an insecure coward who deep down knows hes a failure in everything, and he wont want to risk losing again. But he will make many appearances on TV to say 'everything was great when I was president, now its a disaster'. He might make noises about running for president every time he needs publicity for his latest grifting.

With the Ds having a secure Senate map, a 2012 one, Casey, Stabenow, Kaine and Baldwin up, Ds are bound to win and Ted Cruz, Rand Paul primary is likely to happen. With Nikki Haley. The Rs always nominate the next in line. But, they will lose to Biden or any other D

Don Jr will run in 2024, and he will constantly tweet and get media attention for his son.

I think he doesn't want personally to run again but he doesn't know what to do aside from campaign, so he needs a proxy and Jr provides that.

That would only be true if there was a modicum of integrity to be corrupted in the first place.

I think it's more likely Kushner runs, actually (assuming he isn't in prison.)

He can run all he wants, but he'd be stupider than anybody ever thought he was if he legitimately believed he could get through a GOP primary.

No way he'll run. Jared isn't someone who directly seeks the spotlight in the same way as Trump, Junior, Cruz or Tucker Carlson. There's a reason he's not active on social media and rarely does interviews or press conferences.
