For president:
2002: Lula (PT) on both rounds
2006: Lula (PT) on both rounds
2010: Dilma (PT) on both rounds
2014: Dilma (PT) on both rounds
2018: Ciro Gomes (PDT) on 1st round, Haddad (PT) on the runoff
For congress and legislative seats on all spheres: it’s generally PSOL candidates but not really because I identify with them (the hard focus on cultural issues turns me off), mostly because other left parties lack better options with energy and excitement. Used to be PT in the past, in the 00s, but they distanced themselves from the base. PDT legislative options also aren’t exciting generally and for a longer time.
For Governor and Mayor: It sometimes works more as an “antivote”, I try to vote for a left party if I think they have chances but I have often voted for centrists or even right-wingers (mostly from DEM) in order to prevent worse options.
Basically my preference ranking when picking someone is/was: PT from old days > PDT > PSOL > current PT > centrists > moderate right.
