I will still insist that it's Lean R. I'll believe it when I see it.

See what?? This is not the first poll showing a highly competitive Texas race

See it actually flip.

In an environment like this, TX is legitimately competitive. Even if Biden comes up a bit short, Republicans can kiss at least three House seats goodbye if it’s close.

Replace "Texas" with "Indiana" and this conversation sounds very 2008.

No? Republicans aren’t going to come roaring back to 2012 level wins here ever again at the Presidential level.

Their Florida poll from today now makes me think that this is too good to be true.

I meant this poll specifically. I do still believe that Texas is at least close to tossup territory. Nothing about Trump polling in the low single digits here is good for him.

The undecideds don't look good, but pretty much everything else does.

Huh? The undecideds are demographically are primarily in the Democratic wheelhouse.

I just meant the number of undecideds, and I was including those demographics in the "everything else." I like to see 50+% before I get too excited.

TX has been a dead heat for more than a year now, many people just haven’t been paying (or willing to pay) attention.
