What if Perot had not decided to drop out in early summer and continued on in the race. Building momentum. At the time he called it quits the race was a virtual 3 way tie - and dropping out of the race clearly cost him credibility when he returned in the fall.

Let’s say he continues on. And runs a serious. Well thought out campaign. Who does he hurt more? Does he win any electoral votes? Show with maps.

Bush is narrowly re elected as Clinton never had a lead, and Bush, IIRC, lead in the polls more often than not before Perot got out.
